Hb I am reading trout fishing in America a book by Richard brought again that was published in 1967. I actually was familiar with the folk music group Ezra using that name who I saw in Kerrville before I had read any Richard brought again. My wife says there was a cold or school in Fremont California in the 70s based on these books she claims the leader was the father of the jazz musician Donny McCaslin (Whom I met from Diego I mean Danielle at Perez of Panama but is more famous for having worked with David Bowie).
There’s a chapter about the FBI Federal Bureau of investigation and they use the term dodger to mean leaflet on page 42 there’s a chapter about the FBI Federal Bureau of investigation and they use the term dodger to mean leaflet on page 42
My handheld computer device suggests I noticed this concert leaflet at a baseball stadium featuring some of secure banned from back in the day I want to hold your mitt.
Which reminds me Terry Gross spoke with Tracy Thorn the founder of everything but the girl and they were discussing Joyce Johnson minor characters. Here

Terry Gross, fresh air, Tracy thorn December 2018
and1: I am in Monterey or we are including Terry TMW and our furry friend or hairy friend so I guess it’s cool to throw in a gratuitous and potential he fake John Steinbeck reference: I thought I saw that in dubious battle there was a reference to a slang expression “the Vag” With a hard Gee that is to say rhymes with bag or gag or drag. It is short for the word vagrant meaning the person “on the vag” Was running from the law or had no occupation or was it drifter’s or proletariat but I cannot find the reference on the Internet so will have to re-read the book carefully to find this was running from the law or had no occupation or was it drifter‘s or proletariat but I cannot find the reference on the Internet so will have to re-read the book carefully to find this.

Aleta Hayes said I’m a “flaneur”.
Happy holidays to Aleta (the dancer and actor and leader, of Stanford).
Today I happen to be in San Francisco for a minute, at the Potrero Hills library, built in 2010. I returned three items, from the North Beach branch: a book on the Beats; a Deerhoof cd; a comic book drawing POTUS in the style of various comic book characters.
I had to cross the 20th street overpass to get here, from where my car is parked on 3rd. I admit I prayed for lack of earthquake while traverssing said bridge.
An oddity, from a few scenes ago: how does 16th street intersect 4th street? Is that “new math”?
From the large windows of this library, I see at least 38 buildings of the skyline, plus one bridge, or parts of a bridge. I still think it odd — as odd as 16/4 streets — that “the dick building” displaces The Pyramid. I see The Marriot, 505 Mongomery — unless that’s California Street i.e. Gianini Building — the tip of Transamerica Pyramid which is Columbus and Mongomery or so; a couple other newby giants; St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church — here on Potrero Hill, foreground; maybe the famous leaning tower of condos; 280; who knows what else. I should insert the actual distance to Salesforce building here. TK.
The non-fiction shelf here had George Packer “The Unwinding” next to Hunter S. Thompson “The Great Shark Hunt”.
“Top of the world, Ma” –my headline — comes from a Jimmy Cagney movie I saw recently at Stanford Theatre.
b/w earlier today I returned very late “Das Boot” about Germany’s leading cobbler. In the FOTL section there was for only $2 a copy of “Herbie: The Love Bug” with a The Donnas song, a cover of BTO “Roll on Down the Road” which was BTO’s second biggest hit next to its #1 smash “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet”. Peak: 1, Us Billboard 100; 98 year end chart). TKOB was #12/63 in 1973; Let It Ride: 23; RODTH: 14/133;
and: i’m kind of a literary flaneur: Flânerie is the act of strolling, with all of its accompanying associations. A near-synonym is boulevardier. I yanked a Joel Selvin collection of rock journalism and opened it to an article I read in real time about Sugar Pie Desanto losing her home to a fire; I was just at Down Home Music in El Cerrito and thought for a minute to look for a Sugar Pie DeSanto set.
How many days until my memoir class (with Lynn Stegner)?
It’s from White Heat:

Gives new meaning to below: baby’s on fire, better put him in the water.
So look, if you’re in Palo Alto covering the music business you were occasionally going to drift off into Barron‘s magazine roundtable on VC. And then gratuitously plug a relatively anonymous tacky who plays a pretty mean guitar and vocal from MIT, Sophie Diehl — get it there’s a pond there — of time cat — A band that covered grateful dead Althea and horse over something about his father — But I am also guessing she works for Stripe which started in 2010 has raised 685m$ and has a unicorn valuation of 20b$. I also bought a photograph on the wall of the revolution café from Marco and Rae of a young boy in a Chinese school saluting to power. He works for Apple So I’ll have to rethink my theory about Silicon Valley draining talent from culture to industry. Weird Segway but I stumbled into Adobe Books & Arts Cooperative via Square which are on paper not silicon nor Clay And discovered some live music including an upcoming show with someone who looks kind of cool, TK

OK this is neither a baby band knew her unicorn but a manikin or if Emma can on mission near 22
And that’s about it for me. I’m off to help Terry my wife make lasagna, then up to San Francisco for the blind boys of Alabama and did I mention I’m taking a course on memoir with Lynn Stagner coming soon is this memoir

Caroleen Beatty doing Eno, circa 2012 or 2,000 days ago.
Today is my 20,000th day on earth celebration — i’m actually from the Sun.
I’m going to go to gym, then walk the dog, then go catch the very first showing of the long awaited “Aquaman” starring my favorite of Lisa Bonet’s husbands, Jason Mamoa. It’s playing 8:05 AM at Moffeit Drive in in Mountain View Silicon Valley near Google — who knew that movies started at 8 a.m.?
or failing that, it plays at 11 am at new ICON theatre at former San Antonio Shopping Center, where there is also a full bar and I bought a membership. but probably lost my car.
Reviewer in The New York Times says the movie sucks, which only increases my desire. (If is so bad, I will recline seat and sleep it off, or go to bar and wait for closing credits. I hope that it ends with Weezer doing the old Eno chestnut “Baby’s on Fire, better put him in the water”.
During my research for this post, I screened a 7-minute video on mute of Die Antwoord “Baby’s On Fire” which I presume is not the same song as the Eno. But it is the best video by far I’ve ever seen and this is my new favorite band. Someday I’ll play the thing again with the off. It has 150M plays — not that i just follow the crowds.
Someone not Eno has a video to the real BOF. It has 350K.
My friends (ok, x-clients; I managed their band, briefly) Doug and Caroleen have the best versions of BOF, as Enorchestra — that’s how i heard the song. That, plus Taking Tiger Mountain By Strategy. Actually not sure i’d heard of Brian Eno until Doug and Caroleen started wearing matching white jumpsuits along with their pals The Guy From Dirty Power and The Guy from Quails (who is pro-Palestinian). Sean, Seth or Steve. two out of 3 aint bad. watch it.
I saw Doug last night for the first time in so many years — 14? I locked eyes, in recognition, as we entered the Make Out Room party at same time. I said “I’m sorry I was not a more diligent manager!” — how rock and roll is that, to say “diligent”? I do suck! — and he said, more appropriately, “It aint no thang” with that exact punctuation. Later I bought Caroleen a drink. Well, it’s probably not all my fault they are not more rich and more world famous. (Their version of BOF, from a couple years later, after white suits morphed back to grunge standard issue, has 4,000 views — god, this world sucks. Did I mention I’ve been here 20,000 days already?

Jason Mamoa as Aquaman — the times said local aquarium is more interesting, especially if you are viisting brother and niece nephew near Baltimore inner harbor
Later I will walk the dog, eat food, do errands with or for my wife, TMW, maybe go see Beth Custer in SF (with Will Bernard, at Red Poppy), maybe go pick up my new antique saxophone from Lee’s Sax Works on Taraval, maybe ride Caltrain and MUNI – I loves me some public trani — which sounds like a Lou Reed line. Maybe watch Die Antwoord again, with sound.
Steve and Eric Cohen my brothers from another Mothers, also celebrate 20,000 days today, in DC with Charles, Jonathan, Christina, Sofia, baby-Mom not on fire but Romanian and sometimes, even for a PhD in economics quite fiery. On Steve’s recommendation last night, by cellphone, I tried El Farrolito on Mission near 24 it was good. Burritto, i’m here all week. I hope. Then, back to Sun. Rah!

Obviously the original version by the British superstar is better, but the two young people from New York deserve to be heard, too. Hopefully their version — especially IF THEY RE-RECORD IT — will hit 10,000 views before Ed’s hits 600M.
I’ve been in the music business for 25 years now — and in the human being body thing for more than 50 — and one of my themes is that the industry distorts the differnce between what they back and what is merely part of the community (i.e. organic, independt, amateur in the sense of “love”). Ed’s version is better than Eden’s, but not 80 millon times better. Maybe it’s twice as good. But she’s on the come.
(I don’t know Eden Arielle Gordon but found her surfing the internet — so there is an inconsistency in my argument in that the forces that propel Ed to 500M viewers also help me meet — by phone and email — Eden).
Eden Arielle Gordon is sometimes the performer known as Eden Arielle.
Check it out:
The Ed Sheeran video also had the added draw of the skinny blond lady pulling feathers out of her epidermis and a special made to order set of even more anthropomorphic artists’ dolls:

which reminds me that I left a vm for James Moore because the Post today had a picture of a blue sculpture of a man holding a ball, which looks like the James Moore Bill Bliss bike tribute public art
edit to add, in March: Eden and bro are up to 81 views, or 14 percent increase. Ed is up to 573K, another 10K, but that’s only 2 percent: so Eden is gaining at a higher rate!
And that 2 million others got here first:
