Edit to add three months later or bottom line up front: BLUF: I put this up after confirming a Jane Monheit show June 21 at Mitchell park el Palo alto room but was not allowed to announce it until after her Yoshi’s show in April. Likewise I am not allowed to advertise in Los Gatos because Jane appears Wednesday there two days before her more intimate Palo Alto hit. I’ve always been impressed by the los Gatos jazz on the Plaza, and met the people in charge of it at Greg Brown’s memorial, but I’ve never been. They’ve done shows with Mose Allison and Nelly McKay.
( Jane has a recent album doing a lot of the Ella Fitzgerald song book and I admit I didn’t finish so it’s missed leading to say eight songs ).

Although it’s kind of obscure in previous posts I’ve compared him to Bob Dylan and Barack Obama. I think I wanted to suggest he change his name in honor of Barack Obama Maybe I should be trying to reach the former president and getting him to go more serendipitous.

I just now nearly 4 years late to the table saw the funny Belgian or Brussels video with that famous black comedian guy and I made some comment about stew and Bhi. Now I can’t remember if I actually spoke with them by phone once maybe I’ve only seen them live once. But I definitely thought he was black like Malcolm X.
So I just counted now there are 10 plastic alto posts that reference or are about Bhi Bhiman. And next Wednesday on Stanford campus in Lynn Stegners class I’m going to literally be Bhi Bhiman and then I’m going to submit these 10 writing samples as a form of “memoir “
