I met pumpsie green and asked him if I could start a rock band or a funk band using that name and he said first he had to ask his wife and then second they said no thank you it was supposed to be in reaction to the band trey Anastasiohad called Vida blue.
I don’t know how I first heard about Elijah pumps agree maybe it was that book about flipping baseball cards

I’m going to take a chance on it even though I’m not sure what I’m getting into but it is free and less than 2 miles from my home. The video above seems to be from a corporate showcase in with a vocalist who may or may not be named Vadia Rhodes.
Who may or may not be the person with the 10,000s of Instagram followers and also does make up.
It may or may not be appropriate for this to remind me of the Werner Herzog movie herdsmen of the Sun End it makes me wonder about my friend who had a mixed family with Wodaabe-Americans of Palo Alto. M- and Y- bless
there’s also Day 2 Of the EDM thing at Frost and maybe a jam at CoHo.

JOHN SANTOS 5 VS GERHARD RICHTER THE DEYOUNG STRONTIUM 38

He’s also leading groups at Filoli in August and Yoshi’s later in September. They are both nicer places to see music that The Mitch, admittedly. But pound for pound and dollar for dollar, especially if you can walk or bike to the show, the series at Mitchell Park Community Center El Palo Alto Room is a great value and opportunity to see world class performances.
I wanted to throw in there this photo of Santos and Flores at Campbell Recital Hall – the acoustic treatment of the walls calls to mind the pattern of the Richter at DeYoung — which by the way has been removed:

DAYNA VS NANCY SAX SHOWDOWN
this does not necessarily go here but I am looking forward to the Dayna Stephens show at Stanford Jazz Workshop tonite. I met Dayna at Stanford Jazz workshop a couple summers ago. Meanwhile a few miles away veteran blues stalwart is celebrating the release of her new cd at the blues jam at Little Fox Theatre in Redwood City. I caught up to her at KZSU two weeks ago when she preceded Bob Margolin as a guest on the Byrd Hale blues show. Bob and Nancy are both on the same lable, Vizztone. Stanford also has a 2-night techno disco EDM show starting allegedly at 6 — maybe I can stand outside — what I call “Round Midnight”, after the movie — before moving on to Dayna.

There’s also an Andre Thierry show free in the parks of Redwood City and a singer songwriter show at Vino Locale.
(I produced your first NorCal show, 1997, Cubberley Community Center, 1997, “Twin Harmonic Pop Festival — a Noise Pop R.I.P. off, I admit)

dba Earthwise
(I sent this to their agent, hoping to get a date here in Palo Alto somewhere down the line. I rode my bike to the show, a beautiful 7-mile jaunt along the shoreline; there were about 100 other bikes in all; I left after Spoon’s 40-minute support slot, arriving home in time to cook for TMW)
Tickets are going pretty fast at Eventbrite for $20 all ages general admission. Earthwise productions has a total of five shows on sale most at Mitchell Park, The Mitch. There is a free Tom Harrell Quartet jazz concert also available at Eventbrite October 24.
