I’m a Ludditte, I work in the arts not tech, so I try to refer to this as Santa Clara Valley, not “Silicon Valley”. In this case I am talking about the fact that by buying 6 tickets to see Lionel Richie at Golden Voice Frost Stanford, I redeemed the codes to apparetnetly (sic) have 6 copies of his new album sent to my post office box.
by the way, Liked Joe Russo and being in frost but left early.

edita: said wifey asked me to move a pile of stones from one side of our tiny yard and back so I went to take a shower, so now I am finishing off this post. It took 9 minutes to we hope have 6 cds sent to our PO Box but only 40 seconds to have the same song “Dancing on the Ceiling” to play on my smart phone, via Apple. I pay 9$ each month, unless they are waiting to charge me $20 for each of the hundred or so cds I’ve downloaded. Meanwhile yet sort of extraneous our or her Lionel Ritchie radio is take it easy.

the other thing I wanted to say is that I was tryng to broker an appearnace by the future POTUS Kirsten Gillibrand to make a stage announcement (“I’m going to go all night long for you”) at the Lionel show here Saturday though she arrives on Sunday. So I wrote Bruce Escowitz of Red Light Management who is also a former CEO of a division of Live Nation. So it would be a typical management decision for someone from touring not recordings Big Threee per se to use a cd promotion as a loss leader for concert tickets. Kirsten’s team is more down with Lizzo, managed by Full Stop, Irving Azoff et al. Who also have Sara Baeilles and Meghan Trainor. I still think Dessa is good for Kirsten — there’s a bull in the china shop, there’s a china doll in the bullpen.”
