I had Delbert Anderson, Navajo trumpet player, on my couch last night; I made him play at Lytton Plaza, retroactively singing for his supper, so to speak. With Jonathan Lagunte on Selmer Mark VI and the current undergraduate I don’t know if she knows prose Rabiah Kabir on flute, but then she went down on her knees facing north not east to peck at my bongos. I said “Rabiah, you have such grace to show me how to play bongos to flute sax and trumpet rather than just telling me I suck”.
