I stumbled upon, while walking aforementioned dog, a group of singers from Hong Kong, about to perform, once they got the power hooked up, at Lytton Plaza. This one was the beatboxer.

I am told it is possible to write a blog about music, fashion, sports, Ornette and local politics without being self-obsessed but then again post-Shields it is true that when I write about Chelsea Bell of Stone Fox bikinis I cannot help but insert self into the story and memoirize if that’s a thing. This is me with a scarf gift of my wife’s brother’s wife, a cap I bought at Ace Hotel in LA not Heathrow blokes, glasses my wife Terry Acebo Davis picked out that are German I think and fairly progressive and some black sweats I bought even more recenter than the LA trip for Pollstar.
The last one is truly as if I were a fashion writer:
I’ve mentioned several times, in passing, like in emails, that at Dartmouth in the 1980s, which was LL Bean and “preppy handbook” and conservative, I loaded up my closet with eure-wear from Roxy’s which was Roxy Rapp’s trendy boutique and I recall my former roommate Teddy Conway of New Orleans and Martha’s Vineyard telling me a striped pant was “ugly” and there is a photo or print of myself with John Samuel “Jack” Martin of Richmond, VA a future and former government prosecutor and another guy named Larry or Lawrence stopping to briefly watch a Divestment rally on the Green and we half-heartedly joined the salute, me by raising my Campions (shopping) bag.
I also wanted to add something from Rania Matar of Boston whose work I’ve seen in 3 shows out here somewhat recently. There were a couple of cute photos of and not by Rania but I went with this one from a series of woman in her locale Cambridge Mass, in 2013:

detail of a Rania Matar photo, I think she was getting at the hands of her subject with the hands of the art behind her. I’m a send this to RM for permission to sue I mean use.
I also shot a woman demonstrating her baked goods who had a similar name and was Jordanian I think she said. It is caught in the digital haze and not hairs. Or cross hairs.
