these are dolls made by a fan of the boots riley flick; meanwhile I tried to read “Jesus the Pimp and Me in a 79 El Dorado” for Faith Bell of Bell’s books and she asked me to stop.
Wow wow wow.
Speaking of female ejaculations, kudos to Natalie Curtiss of New Hampshire, the illustrator and fanatic about the film, “Sorry to Bother You” which works in New Hampshire — although I also saw something, which sent me down this path, from Politico about Willie Brown dissing the film.
Thank you for your kind words about my work. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing my “Sorry To Bother You” nesting dolls as much as I enjoyed making them.
ed: In comparison, I’ve seen the movie thrice and described it to perhaps a half dozen telephone operators, plus one day I went to my first Oakland A’s game in 17 years, but I parked downtown, near 14th and Broadway — in the parking lot of historic Paramount Theatre actually — which was announcing a screening of “Animal House” of all things — and before and after the game I stopped every third person and asked if they had seen the film, or did they know Boots? — to the point that i was actually kicked out of an art gallery for being a pest: they said they know him by his given name.
