Edward Simon brings a stellar trio with acclaimed bassist Or Bareket and drummer Adam Cruz. Together they will be playing music from his new album, Venezuela: Latin American Songbook Vol. 2 on ArtistShare, whichcontinues the artist’s deep engagement with Latin American repertoire through jazz-informed interpretation. Following his NAACP Image Award-winning Vol. 1, this new chapter draws further inspiration from the rich musical heritage of Simon’s homeland and neighboring countries, bringing to light beloved classics and hidden gems from the Latin American songbook. Each piece is reimagined through Simon’s refined touch as an arranger, resulting in a vibrant dialogue between tradition and innovation.

NBs: Edward Simon appeared solo piano April, 2024. Adam appeared with Tom Harrell band fall, 2019 and with Danilo Perez at The Cub in 2000. Or lead a band at Lytton Plaza also in 2022.
