Big Sister

I voted for Hillary Clinton and not Donald Trump and I will definitely vote for Joe Biden with Kamala Harris and not Donald Trump and my wife was very very disappointed that we did not have a female president yet .

but there is some thing a little bit Orwellian about having our leaders talk to us in this format as compared to being a fly on the wall at an event.

I guess I like having music at these things. I hired Marcus Shelby once to play in City Hall Palo alto regarding the installation of a Mildred Howard piece at our Martin Luther king plaza at 250 Hamilton. And Aleta Hayes saying “Rolling and Tumbling” once at my campaign event she also sang “harvest Moon“ by Neil Young at another event.

Meanwhile today was a banner day for me in that my fledgling content company or record label Lions With Wings  released its first song Nancy Wright with Bob Margolin and Mitch Woods doing Bobby Marchan and Big Jay McNeely’s  “there is some thing on your mind“ and you can already download the audio version at bandcamp. The video by Kid Andersen who also produced the session is on Kid’s YouTube account. Not to politicize or to assume any of the musicians have any particular political beliefs besides believing that music makes the world better, but I am connecting these two thoughts because of technology and the media. Big brother big sister big J, big ups to Nancy and crew.
