Bucolic Labarinth by Paz DLC

  1. I did wander by City Hall and meet the artist and her assistant, Paz. There is a labyrinth at the plaza, made from the discards of a astroturf soccer field at Cubberley. By my count, it takes about 2 minutes to complete. Ok.
  2. Duffy and I went by and walked it. It was a wee bit too hot to relax, but today is worse.
  3. It reminded me of the rock band Oxbow — the Oxbow is a symbol sort of like the Omega in Greek, which is supposedly God’s signature, you see it in rivers, some times.
  4. Not sure how Eugene S. Robinson chose his band’s name. His previous was Whipping Boy.
  5. I found this video from eight years ago of Eugene wrestling with a guy who might be named Scott Epstein, or Scott “Einstein” Epsptein.
  6. I want to send this to Keith Boykin, the Democratic commentator, who is also my friend from Dartmouth. He used to rassle. (Although in Hanover he was a track star).
  7. Not sure if the music is by Oxbow, I don’t think so.
  8. Maybe Eugene want to read ‘The Set Up” set to music for Lions with Wings.
