edit to add, January 1, 2012, the Julian New Year: essence is doing a children’s show at the California Academy of Sciences on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 at noon and I may have to check it out, followed perhaps by a peek at the Anderson Collection of Prints across the way at the De Young.
